About the DTHL:
The Detroit Table Hockey League is located in Madison Heights, Michigan in the Southeastern Michigan area in the Macomb County. This is a made up group of table hockey enthusiasts who love the game of table hockey and enjoy competitive/organized table hockey on quality made Stiga Table Hockey Games. Stiga is the official game of the ITHF (International Table Hockey Federation) and the World Championships. Also considered the best type of table hockey game to be known. We play once or twice a month during a week from October thru March which is the month of the Stiga North American Championships table hockey tournament held in the Livonia Area. :) Games are 5 minutes timed using a iPod timer on Stiga Play-Off Games using Stiga International Style Player Figures. Everyone who plays/is a part in the DTHL is able to improve/meet new friends, and use their own team names if they wish. Games are Stiga Playoff Table Top/Rod Hockey Games with International Player Figures mounted on solid 6 ft. Banquet Tables outfitted with TableHockeyPro.com deflectors and pucks with Original Suplak Puck Catchers to reduce the huge possibility in and outs and for easier puck retrieval. For the last five seasons of DTHL Play and six years of DTHL operation, the DTHL has been a Stiga league. Starting in October of 2012, the Detroit Table Hockey League will be a 2 board league featuring Stiga and Benej. :)
